We recently got our hands on a new set of spy shots showing the interior of the Li Auto i6. Based on previous information, the i6 is a five-seater all-electric SUV targeting the ¥250,000 to ¥300,000 price range. The car is scheduled to launch and begin deliveries in September. It has a monthly sales target of 9,000-10,000 units.

Interior and Exterior Design

The spy photos show the test car’s interior is still heavily covered. However, from the details visible, the i6 will likely have a dual-screen setup with a central control screen and a passenger entertainment screen. Driving information will be displayed on a head-up display (HUD) in front of the driver’s seat. In addition, the center console area has a horizontal storage compartment. It seems a wireless phone charging pad will be located in front of it.

Looking back at the exterior, the Li Auto i6 will continue its low-drag design language. The front features split headlights. It also has a new “starlight” LED light strip below the windshield. In terms of size, the new SUV measures 4950mm in length, 1935mm in width, and 1655mm in height, with a 3000mm wheelbase.

Powertrain and Performance

According to previously submitted filings, the Li Auto i6 is built on an 800V high-voltage pure electric architecture. It uses Li Auto’s self-developed silicon carbide motors. The all-wheel drive version has a front motor with 150 kW and a rear motor with 250 kW. The rear-wheel drive single-motor version has a maximum power of 250 kW. It will also come standard with an 87.3 kWh battery pack. It offers three different CLTC ranges: 660 km, 710 km, and 720 km. We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more information on the new i6.
