The Seal 06 comes equipped with BYD’s “God’s Eye C” triple-camera driver assistance system. This system provides extensive driver assistance hardware. The interior layouts of the Seal 06 DM-i and Seal 06 EV are largely identical. The dashboard features a high-gloss black trim panel. A 10.25-inch full LCD instrument cluster is an embedded design. In addition, it uses a 15.6-inch floating central screen, a four-spoke steering wheel, and a column-mounted gear selector.
Powertrain and Range
As for the powertrain, the Seal 06 DM-i uses a 1.5-liter plug-in hybrid system. It utilizes BYD’s fifth-generation hybrid technology. The 1.5-liter engine delivers a maximum power of 74 kW and a peak torque of 126 N·m. The electric motor produces a maximum power of 160 kW and a peak torque of 260 N·m. Additionally, the vehicle offers two battery options: 18.3 kWh and 26.6 kWh. The corresponding CLTC pure electric ranges are 121km and 170km.
The Seal 06 EV models all feature a rear-motor, rear-wheel-drive layout. The front engine compartment includes a small “frunk” for extra storage. The electric motors come in two power configurations, with maximum outputs of 170 kW and 180 kW. Furthermore, the battery options are 65.28 kWh and 78.72 kWh. These offer corresponding CLTC ranges of 520km and 605km.
From a market perspective, the Seal 06 competes with models like the Leapmotor C10 (starting from 122,800 RMB) and the Deepal S07 (159,900-197,900 RMB). Sales data shows that the Seal 06 EV sold 3,129 units in its launch month, while the Seal 06 DM-i sold 1,568 units.
