On September 25th, Leapmotor officially announced that its 1 millionth vehicle had rolled off the production line. This is a significant milestone. This signifies a new phase of “dual growth in scale and profitability.” In 2025, Leapmotor also secured spots on three prestigious lists: the Fortune China 500, China’s Top 500 Private Enterprises, and China’s Top 500 Manufacturing Enterprises.

Company Growth and Product Lineup

At the ceremony, Leapmotor’s founder, chairman, and CEO, Zhu Jiangming, spoke. He said, “It took us five years to go from the first Leapmotor S01 to our 500,000th vehicle. It took us less than a year to go from 500,000 to 1 million. This shows that Leapmotor’s growth is accelerating. We hope to witness the next millionth vehicle roll off the line here in just one more year.”

Leapmotor focuses on user value. It has developed four product series: A, B, C, and D. This creates a diverse lineup of sedans, SUVs, and MPVs. For example, the Leapmotor C11 has sold over 270,000 units in four years. The C10 has surpassed 160,000 global deliveries in just 17 months. The B10, launched in April, exceeded 10,000 deliveries the very next month. Cumulative sales have now reached over 60,000. The B01, launched in July, surpassed 10,000 deliveries in only 37 days. It became Leapmotor’s fastest vehicle to reach that milestone.

Global Expansion and Overseas Markets

In September, Leapmotor’s new custom model, the Lafa5, debuted at the Munich Motor Show. The Lafa5 will officially launch at the Guangzhou Auto Show in November. It will be introduced to global markets in 2026. The high-performance “Ultra” version will be released in the first half of 2026.

Leapmotor is accelerating its international expansion with the help of Stellantis’s global network. This network includes sales channels, after-sales service, financing, and logistics. Leapmotor has already established nearly 700 sales and service centers in over 30 countries. The European network is particularly dense, with more than 640 locations. This provides a solid foundation for rapid market penetration. From January to August this year, Leapmotor’s overseas deliveries surpassed 30,000 units. This makes it the top Chinese new energy vehicle startup brand. It is a top contender in key markets like Germany, France, Italy, and Spain. In August, Leapmotor even surpassed BYD to take the top spot in Germany’s pure EV market.

New Flagship SUV D19 Coming Soon

Leapmotor’s new flagship SUV, the D19, will debut on October 16th. Based on previous images, it is expected to be a three-row SUV over 5 meters long. It will target the ¥250,000 to ¥300,000 market. The car will feature the Snapdragon automotive platform (QAM8797P). Power will come from an extended-range electric powertrain.
