Design and Dimensions<\/strong><\/h4>
Based on photos, the exterior of the 2026 BYD Xia is unchanged. It continues the current model’s design. The front features a large-format grille that merges with the dual-LED headlights.<\/p>
The vehicle’s dimensions are 5145mm (L), 1970mm (W), and 1805mm (H), with a 3045mm wheelbase. This makes it a full-size MPV. At the rear, the Xia features the classic “Chinese knot” taillights, which is a signature of the Dynasty series.<\/p>
The interior also remains largely consistent with the current model. For instance, it features a 15.6-inch central control screen with the DiLink system and “what you see is what you get” voice commands.<\/p>
One small optimization is that the seat headrests have returned to a more traditional style. Furthermore, the seating layout is a family-friendly 2+2+3<\/strong>. The front seats will also offer heating, ventilation, and massage functions.<\/p> <\/figure> <\/figure> <\/figure> <\/figure> <\/figure>
Powertrain and Extended Range<\/strong><\/h4>
In terms of power, the new model will be equipped with a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system. To achieve the new 218 km range, the new model will be upgraded with a larger battery pack. Consequently, the fuel consumption in charge-depleted mode is also expected to be lower.<\/p>
