On August 29, at the 2025 Chengdu International Auto Show, Wuling debuted the Starlight 730 MPV. The vehicle is built on Wuling’s new energy architecture and uses the “Heaven, Spirit, God” series of technologies. As a result, it offers a variety of powertrain options: gasoline, plug-in hybrid (PHEV), and pure electric (EV).<\/p>

Exterior & Interior Design<\/b><\/h3>

The gasoline and PHEV versions of the new MPV feature a large “mouth” grille design. In contrast, the pure electric model only retains the lower grille, with a completely blacked-out center. The dual-layered horizontal LED daytime running lights enhance the vehicle’s unique look. In addition, the front bumper has air ducts on both sides, which adds to its sporty feel.<\/p>

The new MPV measures 4910mm in length, 1850mm in width, and 1770mm in height, with a 2910mm wheelbase. The side of the vehicle uses a sliding door design, with the track hidden along the lower edge of the window. At the same time, the taillights echo the design of the headlights, creating a cohesive look.<\/p>

Inside, the Starlight 730 has a floating central screen and retains physical buttons below it for easy use. Furthermore, a wireless phone charging pad is also included. Overall, the interior has a high-quality feel. The cabin features a 2+2+3, 7-seat layout, and the second-row seats can recline for greater comfort.<\/p>

In terms of the battery, it will be equipped with 54.5 kWh and 60 kWh battery packs, providing a CLTC pure electric range of 450km and 500km, respectively.<\/p>
