A Necessary Evolution

First launched on August 29, 2021, the Dolphin has been on the market for four years. A refreshed version with an intelligent driving system was launched in February of this year (2025), and while it added new features, it did not significantly improve sales. This has clearly accelerated the development of this all-new model.

From Crossover to Classic Hatchback

The most significant change in the new Dolphin is its body style. It returns to a classic two-box hatchback shape, moving away from the MPV-like crossover style of the current model.

The most obvious visual cue is at the A-pillar, which no longer has the separate triangular window. The C-pillar, however, remains thick and robust.

Modernized Front End and Sporty Details

The front end has also been completely redesigned. The spy shots suggest it will feature a new full-width daytime running light. The headlights now have a projector lens design, and the front bumper is thicker and more substantial.

On the side, blacked-out wheels give the car a sporty feel. The mirrors remain mounted on the doors, and the new model continues to use semi-hidden door handles.

What to Expect Under the Hood

There are currently no technical specifications available for this new car. However, we fully expect that the new model will feature upgraded motor and battery technology. Furthermore, improved space utilization within the cabin is also anticipated.
