Su socio global para vehículos eléctricos en China

En Buick GL8 has long held a strong position in the MPV market. To stay competitive in a landscape increasingly dominated by new energy vehicles, a hybrid version was a natural next step. The new GL8 Century PHEV has now launched, boasting an increased pure electric range and support for 5C ultra-fast charging. Prices start from 339,900 RMB and go up to 399,900 RMB.

Exterior and Interior Upgrades

The new GL8 PHEV retains the classic exterior design but adds a new 18-inch wheel style. Measuring 5219mm in length, 1878mm in width, and 1807mm in height, it remains a mid-to-large-sized MPV. Compared to the older “fat-head” front face, the current “Flying Eaves” design looks more imposing. A new “Purple Aura” exterior color option is also available, appearing as a deep purple in low light.

Inside, the cabin features a familiar setup with a large connected display screen and a four-spoke steering wheel. A new “Rose Haze” two-tone interior color scheme adds a touch of sophistication. All models come standard with Nappa leather seats. The comfort of the GL8’s second-row seating has been widely praised, and the third-row seats now have an additional 180° electric folding function. Higher-trim versions also include a ceiling-mounted display screen.
