Carmakers include some of the industry’s biggest names. We’ll see a powerful new model from Zeekr and key tech updates for Volkswagen. A new special edition from Exeed is also on the way.

Zeekr 9X: A Powerhouse of Tech and Performance

First up is the Zeekr 9X. It began pre-sales at the Chengdu Auto Show. Prices range from ¥479,900 to ¥569,900. This commanding vehicle will be available in seven colors. The palette includes Polar White, Night Black, and a stunning new Wilderness Green.

Its sheer presence is undeniable. It measures 5239mm long and has a massive 3169mm wheelbase. The interior is a tech-lover’s dream. It’s dominated by a 47-inch AR-HUD. SAIC-Volkswagen will host a technology conference on September 29th. The event is for its “Pro Family” line. This includes popular models like the Passat, Teramont, and Tiguan L. It will likely announce significant OTA updates. These updates will focus on enhancing their driver-assistance systems (ADAS).

Exeed Yaoguang C-DM “Global Edition”: Style and Efficiency

Exeed is launching the “Global Edition” of its popular Yaoguang C-DM. This model is known as the Exeed RX in some markets. The new edition will likely feature unique configuration updates. A key visual change is a new black-and-white two-tone paint scheme. It has blacked-out mirror caps. This gives the SUV a more fashionable and dynamic appearance.

For reference, the current Yaoguang C-DM is a mid-size plug-in hybrid SUV. The powertrain uses a 1.5T hybrid engine with dual electric motors. It has a 3-speed DHT gearbox.
