On September 25th, the Denza N8L was officially revealed. This large SUV has a more minimalist design and a 2+2+2 six-seat configuration, focusing on family travel. It will partner with the Denza N9 as a “twin-star” lineup. The Denza N8L will feature a 2.0T plug-in hybrid system, built on the “Yi San Fang” technology platform. It also includes the “God’s Eye” driver assistance system, the “DiSus” suspension system, and an available drone version. According to the plan, pre-sales for the Denza N8L will begin on September 26th.

From the outside, the Denza N8L’s front face has a simpler design. Two slender LED daytime running lights give it a more youthful appearance, while the main headlights are placed on either side of the closed grille. The daytime running lights and split headlights are inspired by the Chinese character “門” (mén), the traditional character for “door.” The lower bumper has an active air intake, which helps optimize cooling and reduce drag. The Denza N8L will be available in six exterior colors: Elegant Red, Snowy Firefly, Black Jade Ink, Stone Ripple Blue, Frost Cloud Ink, and Jade Ink.

The side profile features black B, C, and D-pillars, creating a “floating roof” effect. The new car also adopts a hidden door handle design. The side mirrors are two-toned, and the window frames have a blacked-out finish. All these elements give it a younger style than the Denza N9. The rear has a flat design, with long, slender taillights that visually stretch the car’s width. In terms of dimensions, the N8L measures 5200mm long, 1999mm wide, and 1820mm high, with a 3075mm wheelbase. This makes it 58mm shorter, 31mm narrower, 10mm lower, and with a 50mm shorter wheelbase compared to the Denza N9.

Interior and Technology

The interior largely follows the same family design as the Denza N9. The digital instrument cluster and passenger screen are both 13.2 inches. The floating center console screen is 17.3 inches and uses a 4-nanometer process chip. The full-scenario voice assistant supports an AI chatbot, in-car payments, AI voice role-playing, and dialect recognition. The car also features a 50-inch AR-HUD head-up display and a 32-megapixel pop-up camera. Additionally, the front and second-row seats offer electric multi-way adjustments, enhancing ride comfort.

Performance and Powertrain

For power, the Denza N8L also uses a 2.0T plug-in hybrid system. The 2.0T engine has a maximum power of 207 horsepower, while the front and rear three-motor system delivers a combined power of 762 horsepower. In terms of technology, the new car is built on the “Yi San Fang” platform. It also comes equipped with the “God’s Eye” advanced driver assistance system and the “DiSus” suspension system, with a drone version available.
