Voyah’s new large SUV, the Voyah Taishan, will debut on September 26th and hit the market in the fourth quarter. It will feature Huawei’s advanced four-LiDAR driver assistance system, the HUAWEI ADS 4+ HarmonySpace 5 cockpit, and air suspension. In addition, it will have rear-wheel steering. The vehicle will offer a six-seat layout and a 1.5T plug-in hybrid powertrain, with a potential price around ¥500,000.

We recently learned from official sources that Voyah’s new large SUV, the Voyah Taishan, will be unveiled on September 26th and officially launched in the fourth quarter. Exterior and Dimensions

First, in terms of exterior design, the Voyah Taishan continues the brand’s family language. Its large, multi-slat chrome grille is eye-catching. The front end uses a split headlight design, and large air intakes also give the front a powerful visual impact. A LiDAR unit is on the roof, so the vehicle is equipped with a total of four LiDARs. In addition, the car will also offer semi-hidden “star-picking” style door handles and chrome “pizza-style” wheels, similar to those on the Luxeed brand. In terms of size, the car is 5230mm long, 2025mm wide, and 1817mm high, with a 3120mm wheelbase. Finally, the Voyah Taishan will offer a two-tone body, electric running boards, and “meteor-style” door handles.

Powertrain and Charging

For the powertrain, the new car will feature a plug-in hybrid system. This system consists of a 1.5T engine and an electric motor. The engine has a maximum power of 110 kW, and it will be equipped with ternary lithium battery packs from CATL and SVOLT. The car has a CLTC pure electric range of 370km, while its combined CLTC range is 1400km. Additionally, it also supports an 800V high-voltage platform with 5C ultra-fast charging. As a result, it can charge from 20% to 80% in just 12 minutes.
