Wuling officially opened pre-orders for its Starlight 730 MPV on September 23rd. From now until its official launch, customers can place a deposit of 1,000 CNY through official channels to receive a 2,000 CNY deduction on the purchase price. Furthermore, the first batch of new vehicles has already arrived in 220 cities nationwide. The Starlight 730 is positioned as a medium-sized MPV, and importantly, it uniquely offers three power solutions: gasoline, hybrid, and pure electric.

New Design Language and Dimensions

Firstly, on the exterior, the Wuling Starlight 730 sports an entirely new front-face design. The rectangular headlights incorporate double-layer LED daytime running lights, consequently, creating strong recognition. The new large-sized black mesh grille also contributes to the fresh design style.

Next, considering the body dimensions, the new car measures 4910mm in length, 1850mm in width, and 1770mm in height, with a 2910mm wheelbase. In order to enhance passenger convenience, the sides are equipped with electric sliding doors. The rear end features a simple, flat design, while straight taillights mirror the front-end styling. The Starlight 730 will be available in four exterior colors: Sunset Grey, Silver Frost White, Jasper Black, and Twilight Mountain Purple.

Interior Comfort and Versatility

As for the interior, the Starlight 730 features a minimalist cockpit design. It includes a suspended instrument screen and a 12.8-inch floating central control screen, and it supports car-machine interconnection. Moreover, it offers multi-scenario modes like “repose,” “camping,” and “power-off standby” to meet various needs. The interior features a dual-tone theme of Walnut Brown and Warm Sand Brown.

The vehicle adopts a flexible “2+2+3” 7-seat layout. Storage is ample, with 25 humanized storage spaces throughout the vehicle. Most notably, the third row employs a clever “magic fold” design: by folding down the seat backrests and then tumbling the cushions forward, the trunk volume can transform from 315L to a massive 1202L.

Triple Powertrain Options (Gasoline, PHEV, EV)

Finally, regarding power, the Starlight 730 is available with gasoline, hybrid, and pure electric powertrains for consumers to choose from:

• Gasoline (Fuel) Version: Features a 1.5T engine with a maximum power of 130kW, paired with 6-speed manual or CVT transmission.

• Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) Version: Combines a 1.5L engine (max power 78kW) with an electric motor. Consequently, the combined range (full fuel and battery) reaches 1,100km.

• Pure Electric (EV) Version: The electric motor delivers a maximum power of 100kW, meaning it provides a pure electric cruising range of 500km.
