We have just learned that the 2026 BYD Xia will officially launch on November 4th. The core change for the new model is a significant increase in its CLTC pure electric range. Specifically, it has been boosted from 180 km to 218 km.

In terms of power, the new model will be equipped with a 1.5T plug-in hybrid system. The engine has a maximum power of 156 horsepower, while the electric motor has a maximum power of 272 horsepower. To achieve the new 218 km range, the new model will be upgraded with a larger battery pack. Consequently, the fuel consumption in charge-depleted mode is also expected to be lower.
