We have learned from Wuling officials that the Wuling Starlight 730 will officially launch in November. The vehicle is already in its pre-sale phase with four configurations, priced between 76,800 and 112,800 RMB.

The Starlight 730 is built on the native Tianyu platform. It features Wuling’s Lingxi Power 3.0, Shenlian Battery, and over 50 standard features across both hybrid and electric versions.

The new vehicle uses a fresh design language. It features a large front grille with a blacked-out mesh pattern, giving it a very high-recognition look.

As a 7-seater, its dimensions are:

• Length: 4910mm
• Width: 1850mm
• Height: 1770mm
• Wheelbase: 2910mm

It will be available in four exterior colors: Smoke Gray, Silver White, Yao Black, and Twilight Purple.

Flexible 7-Seat (2+2+3) Interior

Inside, the Starlight 730 features a floating instrument screen and a 12.8-inch floating central control screen. The system supports phone connectivity and multi-scene modes (like Rest, Camping, and Power-on when exiting).

The versatile 2+2+3 seating layout is a key feature:

• Front Seats: Can recline 180° for “lie-flat” resting.
• Second Row: Features dual armrests and multi-angle adjustment.
• Third Row: Supports 4/6 split-folding.

This flexibility allows the trunk space to change from 315L (all seats up) to 1202L (third row down). Two interior themes are available: Walnut Brown and Warm Sand Brown.

Three Powertrain Choices

The Starlight 730 offers three distinct powertrain options, a unique strategy for this class:

1. Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV):
   • Uses Lingxi Power 3.0 (1.5L engine + 4th-gen 10-in-1 motor).
   • Fuel Consumption: 5.3 L/100km (charge-depleted).
   • EV Range: 125 km (CLTC).
   • Total Range: 1100 km (CLTC).
2. Pure Electric (BEV):
   • Motor: 100 kW.
   • Battery: 60 kWh Shenlian Battery.
   • EV Range: 500 km (CLTC).
   • Charging: Supports 2C fast charging, enabling a 200 km range top-up in just 15 minutes.
3. Gasoline (ICE):
   • Engine: 1.5T engine with 130 kW of power.
   • Transmission: 6-speed manual or CVT.
